Summer Music Academy at Ridgewood
The Summer Music Academy is a summer music camp that offers exciting performing opportunities, small group lessons, private instruction, and a variety of music and art elective classes for young musicians. Students can learn a brand new instrument, enhance technical and musicianship skills on a current instrument, participate in one of our many ensembles, or explore our diverse elective class offerings! Once again, our fantastic staff will ensure that the Summer Music Academy experience you know and love becomes a reality!
All classes meet daily for 40 minutes, between the hours of 8:15 AM and 12:00 PM. Visit the Course Offerings tab to explore detailed descriptions of each class and their meeting times. Students from any school district or town are welcome to attend.

If you take an Intermediate Group Lesson at 9:00, enrolling in the corresponding Ensemble at 9:45 (e.g., Brass Ensemble) is highly recommended.
If you play in the Junior or Senior Jazz Band at 10:35, enrolling in the Improvisation course at 11:20 is highly recommended.
